State Approval Information for Maryland

The following courses on Continued Early Childhood Education are approved by the Maryland State Department of Education and may be used for annual child care licensing requirements in Maryland.  To find courses to meet Core of Knowledge training, use the "Duration" menu to search for courses that are two hours in duration or longer.  Shorter duration courses may be used to meet Maryland Continued Training (elective) requirements.

CDA Credential courses on Continued meet the requirements of the Council for Professional Recognition for the foundational training hours to apply for your initial CDA. Please note that each of the CDA bundles have been approved under a single approval code by MSDE; if you need a single certificate of completion with approval code for your 120-hour Credential bundle, or for your 45-hour Renewal bundle, please contact our Customer Experience Team to assist you.
