Dr. Duncan is an international consultant, designer of two furniture collections called Sense of Place and Sense of Place for Wee Ones, and adjunct faculty at Nova Southeastern University. Sandra has designed and taught university courses on built early learning environments, collaborating with architects, interior designers, and educators to create extraordinary learning environments for all ages. With 50+ years of experience in the early care and education field, she taught kindergarten for 10 years, owned 11 early childhood programs, and is the founder and Executive Director of a school-age program that currently serves approximately 1900 students at 22 sites in 7 public and parochial school systems.
