Wendy Bradbury has been part of the Continued family for 13 years and has seen the company grow from a handful of employees to the more than 100 team members of today.

Bradbury worked in the recruiting industry before joining Continued to build its career center, which today works with thousands of partners and clients in the audiology and speech-language pathology fields.

As vice president of sales, career, and educational services, Bradbury is responsible for all career center sales for AudiologyOnline and SpeechPathology.com and oversees all group continuing education sales across each of Continued’s family of online learning sites.

What do you like best about your job?

I absolutely love that I have the autonomy to do what I do best every day without the feeling of being micromanaged. I work with an incredible group of people who are all at the top of their game.

Everybody at Continued is so brilliant in their respective fields and so invested in being successful, not just as individuals but within their team and the company as a whole.

It’s so much easier to do your job when everyone around you collectively is invested in the same thing.

There are many furry companions in the Continued family, including the Bradbury’s bulldog, Nala.
What is your home office like?

I have been working from a home office for more than 15 years and honestly cannot even imagine going back to a traditional office setting. I have a dedicated office area, but I often work from different parts of the house depending on the day.  I love working in front of the fireplace in the winter, especially when it’s snowing. In the spring I typically work from my patio most afternoons to enjoy the sunshine.

Wherever I go, my dog is sure to be at my feet ... sleeping!

The other sure thing in my life is that I will have a cup of coffee next to my laptop regardless of where I’m working. I never get upset about an unexpected power loss that necessitates me working from our local Starbucks!

What do you do to get rid of stress?

Having a free morning to catch up on needed sleep often does the trick, although that doesn’t happen as frequently as I would like. Therefore, a hot bath and a glass of wine are good in a pinch!

What is your favorite holiday?

I love that we experience all four seasons where we live in Pennsylvania, but my favorite time of year is the fall. I love the brisk weather, we enjoy watching the Philadelphia Eagles play every week, and it's the season of my favorite holiday—Halloween! I decorate every inch of the house like a maniac. My kids are still at an age where we take them out trick or treating in our neighborhood. We have a tradition to hang out with neighborhood friends at the end of the night with hot cider as the kids trade their loot. I really look forward to it every year.

"Our neighborhood is a close community and is a great place to watch our kids grow up," Bradbury said. "We are walking distance to our little league baseball field, which is where we spend most of our nights from April through November."
Excluding faith, family, or friends, what are three things you can’t live without?

    1. Coffee
    2. Pizza
    3. iPhone

What are your three favorite or most-used apps on your phone?

    1. Cozi keeps our family organized for our endless activities on a shared calendar.
    2. TickTalk allows us to text, call, and geolocate our kids from their watches.
    3. The Starbucks app helps me earn free coffee!

"I honestly feel blessed to be part of this incredible company. From the very top down, we have a work culture that is second to none."

Bradbury says one of her favorite company memories is winning the ping pong championship at the annual company meeting in 2013.
What makes you most proud to work for Continued?

I honestly feel blessed to be part of this incredible company. From the very top down, we have a work culture that is second to none. It is a work hard, play hard environment mixed with incredible generosity and charitibility company wide. I am most proud to be able to contribute to a company that holds those values in the highest regard. It’s not just about our bottom line at the end of the day. We all truly care about each other and our company mission.
