Carol Flexer, PhD, FAAA, CCC-A, LSLS Cert. AVT (Listening and Spoken Language Specialist Certified Auditory Verbal Therapist) is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Audiology at the University of Akron. An international lecturer and consultant in pediatric and educational audiology and author of more than 155 publications including 14 books, Dr. Flexer is a past president of the Educational Audiology Association, the American Academy of Audiology, and the AG Bell Academy for Listening and Spoken Language. For her research and advocacy for children with hearing loss, Dr. Flexer has received four prestigious awards: two from The Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing -- the Volta Award and Professional of the Year Award; one from the American Academy of Audiology -- the 2012 Distinguished Achievement Award; and one from Kent State University -- The EHHS Hall of Fame Distinguished Alumni Award, 2015.

Dan Dubovsky
MSW

Dan has worked for over 40 years in the field of behavioral health.  He has worked as a child care worker in residential treatment and as a therapist in residential treatment, inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.  Dan has been involved in the field of fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) for over 25 years, serving as the FASD Specialist for the SAMHSA FASD Center for Excellence for 14 years.  He has presented regionally, nationally and internationally on FASD focusing on interventions and prevention for children, adolescents and adults.  For this work, his son Bill, who was diagnosed with fetal alcohol syndrome at age 19, has been his mentor and best teacher.  In addition to FASD, Dan has developed curricula and provided training and technical assistance for families and professionals working in many related fields.  He currently works as a consultant, providing training and technical assistance to agencies, communities, states, grant programs, and provinces.  

Alison D. Peak
LCSW, IMH-E

Alison D. Peak LCSW (Allied Behavioral Health Solutions, Nashville, TN) received her Master's in Social Work from the University of Michigan with an emphasis in Interpersonal Practice with Children and Youth and Infant Mental Health. Alison is the Co-chair of the AIMHiTN Endorsement Committee and a member of AIMHiTN's Leadership Cohort. Alison also has two post-graduate degrees, Integrated Behavioral Health in Primary Care and Pediatric Integrated Health Services. Alison is passionate about working with children with histories of early trauma, families with adopted children, and youth in DCS custody. Alison seeks to meet these children and families where they most often present for assistance, their physician's office, and to assist in collaborating with primary care providers to optimize services for children and families.    

Nicole Quint
Dr.OT, OTR/L

Nicole Quint has been an occupational therapist for over 15 years, working in adult and pediatric rehabilitation and academia. She is currently Associate Professor in the Occupational Therapy Department at Nova Southeastern University, teaching in both the Masters and Doctoral programs. She provides outpatient pediatric OT services at NSU and Social Mind Center, specializing in children and adolescents with Sensory Processing Disorder and concomitant disorders. She also provides consultation services for schools, professional development, and special education services. She provides continuing education on topics related to Sensory Processing Disorder, pediatric considerations on the occupation of sleep, occupational therapy and vision, reflective therapist, executive functions, leadership in occupational therapy and social emotional learning. She is currently working on a PhD in conflict analysis and resolution specific to systems and organizations, with an interest in disability and conflict.

Stacey Landberg
MS CCC-SLP

Stacey B. Landberg, MS, CCC-SLP is a pediatric speech-language pathologist with 15 years of professional experience. After earning her Early Intervention Credential in Chicago in 2007, Stacey returned to Los Angeles where she has since specialized in home-based early intervention. Despite the vast ethnic and socio-economic diversity among her clients, Stacey noticed one striking similarity: EVERY caregiver has questions and concerns about their child’s media consumption. Prompted by these questions and Stacey’s own vested interest as a mother to two young children, she began a detailed analysis of the research related to screen-time for young children in 2012. Her studies have allowed her to meet and consult with national and international experts on this topic, to write parent-training materials for App Developers, and educate more than 1000 “media mentors” across the United States.
