Tara Warwick, MS, OTR/L, is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy in 2000 and completing her Master’s degree in rehabilitation sciences with an emphasis in pediatrics in 2005. She has spent her entire career focusing on improving the quality of services for children, primarily targeting children with autism. She currently co-owns a pediatric therapy practice called Today’s Therapy Solutions and is a consultant for the Oklahoma Autism Center through the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center – Child Study Center. Tara’s specialties include working with children with autism and challenging behavior. She has extensive experience and expertise in behavior management, sensory processing, self-care training (potty training, eating/feeding, dressing, play, etc.), and assistive technology. She has conducted trainings and provided consultations for schools, parents and health and child care professionals all across the state.

Marina Calarco MS, OTR/L has been an occupational therapist for 16 years. She has a bachelor’s in Kinesiology and a Master’s in Occupational Therapy. She has spent her career in school districts both private and public, early intervention and private pediatric clinics. She has a daughter, and her hobbies include reading and knitting.

Rosemarie Griffin, MA, CCC/SLP BCBA, is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She divides her time between a public school and a private school for students with autism in Ohio. She's presented at the national, state and local level about systematic and collaborative language instruction for students with autism. She is also a blogger and product developer (action builder cards). Her professional mission is to help all students expand their communication step by step. She can be reached at www.abaspeech.org.

With 50+ years of experience in the early care and education field, Dr. Duncan has extensive experience in publishing curricula and teacher resources, teaching young children, training early childhood professionals, teaching at the university level, designing professional development programs, and working with parents. Sandra taught kindergarten for 10 years, owned 11 early childhood programs, and is the founder and Executive Director of a school-age program serving 1700 students at 18 sites in 4 school systems. She is an adjunct faculty member and dissertation chair for 25+ doctorate students at the Fischler Graduate School of Education for Nova Southeastern University.
Currently, she is helping design a furniture collection for early childhood classrooms called Sense of Place, which will be launched at the 2019 NAEYC conference. She is the author of several books including Inspiring Spaces for Young Children, Rating Observation Scale for Inspiring Spaces (ROSIE), Rethinking the Classroom Landscape: Creating Environments that Connect Young Children, Families, and Communities, Bringing the Outside In: Ideas for Creating Nature-Based Classroom Experiences for Young Children, and Through a Child’s Eyes: How Classroom Design Inspires Learning & Wonder, as well as numerous articles on designing early childhood environments and connecting children with nature. Most importantly, she is Grandma to Sierra Elizabeth--a vivacious and very precocious first grader!
Nicole Steward is a social worker and registered yoga teacher (RYT) with a focus on community engagement, public education, foster youth advocacy, and trauma-informed yoga. With more than a decade of social work practice in non-profits and K-12 education, Nicole has noticed the need for radical self-care to discharge toxic stress we absorb through our work. This awareness drives her to study trauma as well as the ways yoga and mindfulness affect our brains and bodies, keeping us engaged and renewed. Nicole teaches yoga, mindfulness, and offers self-care workshops and retreats. Nicole believes self-care is a way of being we must adopt if we are to sustain ourselves as service providers, educators and human beings.

Quniana Futrell, known as “Author Q,” is an advocate for change! An international speaker, professor, author, and philanthropist, she works with key groups critical to rebuilding families and helping others change their story.
Keeping momentum as a change-agent for families, Author Q released her first children’s book, Our Moms, in November 2015. Our Moms is a conversation-starter for parents, professionals, or service providers who live or work with children of incarcerated parents. Later in 2016, Author Q was a part of a book anthology and film called, No More Chains. Quniana has been recognized by both international and local media outlets for her work. She has been invited to the Wells of Hope Ministries in Kampala, Uganda to share her knowledge with children, parents, and teachers. This proven Children’s Champion's motto is, Change the Family, Change the World.
Rosanne Regan Hansel is the author of Creative Block Play: A Comprehensive Guide to Learning through Building and a contributing author to Big Questions for Young Minds: Extending Children’s Thinking (Strasser & Mufson Bresson, 2017). Rosanne holds a BS in Art Education from Penn State and an MS ED in Early Childhood Leadership from Bank Street College of Education. She was formerly an early childhood specialist for the New Jersey Department of Education; early childhood specialist for the National Science Foundation’s Math Science Partnership at Rutgers University; and an administrator and teacher in a variety of early childhood and elementary settings. Rosanne has written visual and performing arts and approaches to learning standards for preschool, co-authored the New Jersey Kindergarten Guidelines, and provided professional development on best practices in math, science, and art for early childhood educators.
