NAEYC brings together experts in early childhood education

Team members from continued recently attended the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) annual conference, held Nov. 14-17 in Washington, DC.

NAEYC is a professional membership organization that works to promote high-quality early learning for all young children, birth through age 8, by connecting early childhood practice, policy, and research.

The 2018 Annual Conference brought together more than 9,000 early learning professionals to champion the profession.

"NAEYC is a conference I've enjoyed attending for years because I can meet other people who value early childhood education as I do." - Jessica Lewis, managing editor of continued Early Childhood Education.

Team members greeted convention attendees at a booth representing continued Early Childhood Education. Booth visitors received continued-branded notebooks and pens and could enter to win an iPad and a lifetime membership to continued’s library of early childhood education courses.

Additionally, the Logan City School District preschool in Logan, Utah, won continued’s Dream Library sweepstakes, which awarded them $1,000 to expand their center’s library of books and also one-year continued memberships to each of the 19 teachers at the school.

“NAEYC is a conference I've enjoyed attending for years because I can meet other people who value early childhood education as I do. This year, I was proud to be able to share information about continued with my peers,” said Jessica Lewis, managing editor of continued Early Childhood Education. “It was wonderful hearing from people who are members of our site and enjoy taking courses.”
