Awards highlight team members who uphold company culture 

At Continued, we have built a team of dedicated, passionate individuals who keep culture at the forefront of all we do. 

In order to recognize team members who go above and beyond to exemplify our core values, we introduced a culture awards program to highlight these individuals who help us thrive as an organization. 

Culture awards are given on a quarterly basis through a peer-nominated process.  

Awards are based on exceptional demonstration of one or more of our core values: 

  • Be Reliable & Excellent
  • Communicate Openly & Effectively
  • Collaborate & Support Always
  • Act Like An Owner

Additionally, culture award recipients are recognized based on project achievements, innovations, system improvements, morale-building, and other culture-based considerations. 

Recipients are celebrated company-wide and receive a monetary award and custom memento. 

“We make culture our primary objective, and we are excited to recognize these award recipients who have been nominated by their colleagues for their dedication to the values we all hold dear,” said HR Director Asher Primrose.  



Deb Basler joined the company two years ago as the accounts receivable specialist. In her role, she handles everything from direct invoices to collections and keeps the company’s invoicing system updated. 

Basler says there is so much she loves about her job, the company, and the people she works with across different areas of the business. 

“I love the company culture with all the positivity, encouragement, and teamwork that exists on a daily basis,” Basler said. 

“I am proud to be a part of a growing company that prioritizes the empowerment and growth of individuals through continued education.”

“Deb is so easy to work with, always has a fantastic attitude, is quick to help anytime she is asked, and takes personal accountability and pride in her work. Deb embodies the core value of ‘acting like an owner’ and makes this a better company every day!"

Culture award recipientJORDAN KUNTZ, COPYWRITER

Jordan Kuntz joined the team in 2020 and works alongside two other copywriters to communicate ideas that help attract and retain members. She writes and edits copy for ads, emails, flyers, and more. 

“I love how the copy and design teams work together to bring our brand to life,” Kuntz said.

“We want to reach the hearts and minds of everyone we connect with, and the collaboration between our teams fuels our creativity.”

"The ownership Jordan claims over her work and the work of the creative team as a whole makes us a better team, and it plays a huge part in what makes us a successful team. She is reliable, organized, and creative, and she always goes above and beyond to ensure she can provide the most insight for the team. She loves the opportunity to be involved in things that help shape our business and our culture."


Karen Parkins joined the company five years ago. She works with customers and teams across the business to prioritize and develop the features that will add the most value for our customers and business. She's currently leading the rebuild of the software platform that supports customers and team members. 

Parkins says that, while her job can be stressful at times, it’s incredibly rewarding. 

“Every day I get to work on challenging problems with smart, collaborative, and supportive colleagues,” Parkins said.

“I also get to play a key role in driving business initiatives that have a significant impact on both our customer satisfaction and the success of our business.”

Culture award recipientDESMOND RUSH, SENIOR DEVELOPER 

Desmond Rush has been a part of the company for nearly five years. As a senior developer, his journey has been filled with opportunities to drive the company’s growth and technological evolution. He has served on a multitude of projects, including modernizing payment systems. 

He says this award reflects the collective effort of his entire team and a shared commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation. 

“Knowing that our collective commitment is dedicated to improving the lives of others through education fills me with immense pride and satisfaction,” Rush said. “It's truly inspiring to be part of a team that shares a common goal of making a meaningful difference in the world.”

"Desmond has regularly provided thoughtful ideas to improve processes and streamline work. He does everything with a combination of excellence and creativity that is very much appreciated."
