State Approval Information for Washington
The following courses are accepted by the Washington State Department of Health. They accept courses approved by AARC, and these courses have been approved by AARC for Continuing Respiratory Care Education.
- A minimum of 10 hours during each 2-year reporting cycle must be earned in courses approved by the AARC. Continued Respiratory Therapy courses are approved by AARC for CRCE credit.
- 2 hours in health equity required. Continued Respiratory Therapy offers courses that may meet the health equity requirement.
- There is no limit to the number of continuing education hours that can be completed online.
- No more than 10 credit hours may be obtained through self-study. With Continued, live webinars may be used to meet the remaining continuing education requirements.
