Continued has embraced remote work since our founding in 1999—long before it became the norm. From coast to coast, our team spans the U.S., working from home offices in 40 states.
This virtual approach removes geographic barriers, allowing us to build a team rich in talent, experience, and perspective. It also gives our team members the flexibility to spend more time doing what they enjoy outside of work.
"Remote work allows me to customize an environment that maximizes my productivity and supports a wonderful work–life balance," said Kimberly Rojas, continuing education producer.
The view from Rojas' home office in Colorado Springs, CO, is pictured above.
"Before joining Continued, many of us endured long commutes, worked excessively long hours, or spent too much time away from our families," said Asher Primrose, VP of human resources.
"Joining the Continued team changed that and marked a positive shift in our lives. No commute means more time to give yourself, your family, and your overall health and wellness—and that means a less stressful existence."
Here’s a glimpse into some of the office setups where our team members do their best work—from the comfort of home!
"Working remotely allows me to spoil my pets with my attention and extra walks during the work day, as well as having more energy to pour into my hobbies and relationships during the week instead of having to cram them in on the weekends!" — Alyssa Templeton, junior data engineer in Issaquah, WA
"Working remotely gives me the flexibility I need to maintain a healthy work-life balance, manage the demands on my time as a working mom of two little kids, and be able to pursue my own interests and hobbies. Continued has prioritized virtual company culture from the beginning, and that investment is evident in every interaction I have with my coworkers, no matter how many hundreds of miles apart we are." — April Dolan, CEU administrator in Austin, TX
"Remote work is vital to me as a single mother, providing the flexibility to be present for my children after school, manage doctor appointments easily, and work efficiently from any location while traveling. It also allows me to balance work and family life more naturally, stay focused and productive with fewer distractions than a traditional office, and prioritize my well-being so I can thrive both at home and in my career." — Calista Kelly, senior strategic content developer in East Peoria, IL
"Virtual work offers better work–life balance and a healthier lifestyle. No commute saves time and money and is better for the environment. I can make my lunch at home rather than eating out, and I have opportunities to weave exercise into my day. And of course, virtual work means getting to enjoy the companionship of my dog, Maxx, all day—his favorite spot is wherever I am!" — Joanne Slater, director of CEU administration in Highlands Ranch, CO
"Working remotely has completely changed my life. Since starting here, I’ve seen more of the county than I ever imagined, all while staying connected and productive wherever I go." — Jordan Kuntz, senior copywriter, working from an RV somewhere in America
"Remote work enables me to collaborate with incredible colleagues across the country to create meaningful learning experiences." — Katie Ondo, VP of content strategy & innovation in Cincinnati, OH
"For me, working from home enhances focus and boosts productivity—and when stress and anxiety hit, there's no better solution than a few minutes with a furry friend." — Tami Baker, director of growth marketing in Polk City, IA
"Remote work means I can squeeze in a mid-day workout, skip the stress of traffic, and be more present for my family, all of which help me show up as my most focused and energized self. I hop on my treadmill desk when I’m answering emails, updating my spreadsheets, or noodling on new ideas. Basically, anytime I can walk and work without tripping over my own thoughts (or feet)." — Erica Ligon, manager of content strategy and development in Greenville, SC
"My wife painted the mural in my office and many others in our house. If your home is paradise, every day is another perfect day in paradise." — Nick Baker, director of engineering in Rio Rancho, NM
