CSM draws thousands of physical therapy professionals together for networking, learning

Team members from Continued attended the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Combined Sections Meeting (CSM), held Jan. 23-26 in Washington, DC.

This annual event is the largest physical therapy conference in the country. This year’s conference brought together more than 16,000 physical therapy professionals and students to connect with the physical therapy community and participate in programming designed by all 18 of APTA’s specialty sections.

"As a physical therapist, it reenergizes me when I see others brought together for one single goal: to help our patients and clients to be the best they can be." - Calista Kelly, managing editor of PhysicalTherapy.com.

Team members greeted conference attendees at a booth representing Continued’s PhysicalTherapy.com. Booth visitors received a PhysicalTherapy.com-branded PopSocket phone accessory and could enter to win one of three grand prizes that included a $500 *Amazon gift card and a lifetime membership to PhysicalTherapy.com.

“CSM is the place to be for PT networking across the practice areas," said Calista Kelly, PT, DPT, managing editor of PhysicalTherapy.com. “An immense pride comes from attending CSM and seeing what our colleagues are doing to further improve the practice of physical therapy. As a physical therapist, it reenergizes me when I see others brought together for one single goal: to help our patients and clients to be the best they can be.”

Continued's PhysicalTherapy.com supports the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research through contributions to its legacy fund, which awards scholarships to deserving applicants pursuing careers in research.
