An AI-focused hackathon showcased the power of innovation while also supporting a meaningful cause.
At a recent company meeting, 160+ Continued team members were divided into 14 groups and given two hours to identify a challenge and develop a solution using generative artificial intelligence platforms. The goal was to solve real-world problems, simplify complex tasks, and find time- and cost-saving solutions by leveraging AI.
Projects ranged from creating bots to assist with tracking data and answering frequently asked questions to intelligent agents that automate tedious manual tasks.
After the work session, each team presented its solution to the company, and three winners were selected.
"Watching our teams lean into AI with such creativity and curiosity was inspiring. They showed what’s possible when you combine powerful technology with a strong sense of purpose,” said CEO Stacy Williams.
"The hackathon highlighted how AI can simplify everyday work, spark new ideas, and ultimately help us serve our customers better. Pairing this event with a scholarship donation felt like the perfect reflection of who we are as a company—always grounded in innovation with heart.”
Continued plans to build on the hackathon’s momentum by exploring ways to implement the most promising ideas across the organization.
A representative from the generative AI platform Abacus.AI presented its suite of offerings to Continued team members as part of this work session.
