State Approval Information for Texas
The following courses are accepted by the Texas Medical Board. They accept courses approved by AARC, and these courses have been approved by AARC for Continuing Respiratory Care Education.
- At least 12 hours must be obtained in traditional courses. With Continued, live webinars may be used to meet the traditional course requirement.
- Two hours must be in ethics. Continued offers courses that may meet the ethics requirement.
- Human trafficking training is required through Texas Health and Human Services. A free course that meets the human trafficking requirement is available through TX Health and Human Services.
Continued Respiratory Therapy reports to CE Broker for TX licensed respiratory therapists upon your request when you complete courses.
