State Approval Information for Dist. of Columbia
The following courses are accepted by DC Health - Respiratory Care Licensing. They accept courses approved by AARC, and these courses have been approved by AARC for Continuing Respiratory Care Education.
- There is no limit to the number of continuing education hours that can be completed online.
- At least 10% of the total required continuing education shall be in the subjects determined by the director as public health priorities of the district.
- 2 hours in ethics continuing education required. Continued offers courses to meet the ethics requirement.
- 2 hours in LGBTQ continuing education required. Continued offers courses to meet the LGBTQ education requirement.
