The following courses are accepted by the New York Office of the Professions - Respiratory Therapy. They accept courses approved by AARC, and these courses have been approved by AARC for Continuing Respiratory Care Education.
- RRTs: At least 15 hours in formal self-study courses. With Continued, live webinars may be used to meet the formal course requirements.
- RTTs: At least 12 hours in formal self-study courses. With Continued, live webinars may be used to meet the formal course requirements.
- First-time renewals are exempt from continuing education requirements.
