continued.com LLC is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Boards for Social Work, Mental Health Practitioners, and Psychology as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers (#SW-0617), licensed mental health counselors (#MHC-0296), licensed psychoanalysts (#P-0067), licensed marriage and family therapists (#MFT-0127), licensed creative arts therapists (#CAT-0119), and licensed psychologists (#PSY-0228).
- Licensees are required to obtain 3 CE hours in professional ethics, including the laws, rules and regulations for practice in New York. Continued Psychology offers courses that may meet this requirement.
- Licensees are required to obtain 3 CE hours on appropriate boundaries. Continued Psychology offers courses thay may meet this requirement.
- There is a one-time requirement at initial licensure, to complete two hours of coursework or training regarding the identification and reporting of child abuse and maltreatment. Continued Psychology does not currently offer this course.
