State Approval Information for Iowa

Courses on Continued meet the criteria for acceptable continuing education for Professional Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists licensed by the Iowa Board of Behavioral Science. Continued has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7484. To find approved courses, select NBCC from the Association menu.

For addiction professionals, Continued offers live courses approved by IBC. Courses other than live webinars must be submitted to the board for approval by the license holder, as the board does not pre-approve providers for self-paced courses.

For all other professionals, please check with your state board for current requirements. Professionals are responsible for ensuring that they complete courses relevant to their credential and scope of practice.
