PhD, MSW LCSW
Tony Bobadilla, PhD, LCSW, is a passionate scholar-practitioner in the field of social work who divides his time between clinical practice, training, consulting, scholarly writing, and research. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) where he teaches Social Work and Special Education. Tony received his educational training at New Mexico State University, where he received various degrees which include Social Work, Foreign Languages, and Special Education together with an Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialization. In his clinical practice, he delivers cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments to adult, children and adolescent clients with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment problems, such as anxiety, stress, depression, and relationship problems. In his consulting work, he has provided intensive service to adults with disabilities ranging and behavioral concerns. Tony collaborates and teaches cultural competence, practice skills, psychopathology, and classroom management courses to future social workers and special educators at OLLU.
