Vinciya Pandian is an associate professor and an associate director of the doctorate in nursing practice and MBA programs at Johns Hopkins University. She is also an acute care nurse practitioner who has specialized in caring for tracheostomy patients and is the president-elect for the Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck nurses. Her program of research surrounds improving the quality of life of mechanically ventilated patients especially those with a tracheostomy.
