Online continuing education provider continued has added a new professional area, social work.
Social work joins continued’s family of professions, which also includes audiology, speech-language pathology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, athletic training, and early childhood education.
continued’s evidence-based social work courses are designed to foster members’ professional growth and success. Course topics include ethics, cultural competency, loss and grief, trauma, race and diversity, child abuse, and more.
“I’m so excited to offer an online platform where social workers can go and take courses on topics that might not be readily available in their area,” said Continued’s Social Work managing editor Katrinna Matthews, DSW, MEd, LAPSW. “Courses on Continued Social Work will offer many relevant and practical tools that social workers can use immediately.”
With a Continued membership, social workers can take unlimited social work courses for $99 per year. This membership includes unlimited access to the social work course library, which is overseen by an experienced team of social workers and industry professionals.
