Continued introduces online continuing education courses in respiratory therapy

Online continuing education provider Continued has added respiratory therapy as its newest professional area.

Respiratory therapy joins Continued’s family of professions, which also includes athletic training, audiology, early childhood education, occupational therapy, physical therapy, social work, and speech-language pathology.

Continued’s evidence-based respiratory therapy courses are designed to foster members’ professional growth and success. Course topics include pulmonary diseases, neonatal-pediatrics, tracheostomy and aerodigestive disorders, critical care adults, and more.

“Respiratory therapists play an integral role in the healthcare system, and the field of respiratory therapy is consistently changing,” said Continued Respiratory Therapy managing editor Farzana Chowdhury, MS, CCC-SLP, BSRC, RRT-NPS. “I’m excited to build our library to allow for the growth and development of professionals working in all areas of the profession.”

With a Continued Respiratory Therapy membership, respiratory care practitioners can take unlimited courses for $99 per year. This membership includes unlimited access to the respiratory therapy course library, which is overseen by an experienced team of industry professionals.

Continued Respiratory Therapy offers live and self-paced courses approved by the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) for Continuing Respiratory Care Education (CRCE).

“At Continued, our mission is to provide an exceptional learning experience that will enhance the lives and careers of those we serve,” said CEO Tony Perlak. “When respiratory therapy professionals join the Continued family, they will find an unrivaled combination of value, convenience, customer service, and quality.”
