AOTF announces latest scholarship recipients supported by OccupationalTherapy.com

The American Occupational Therapy Foundation (AOTF) has announced two scholarship recipients supported by a contribution from Continued’s OccupationalTherapy.com.

OccupationalTherapy.com donated $10,000 to the AOTF Scholarship Program, which benefits qualified students currently enrolled full time in accredited occupational therapy educational programs.

This year’s recipients of $5000 scholarships each are:

Caitlin Horsford, Indiana University

“I am deeply grateful to OccupationalTherapy.com for their generous scholarship and membership; it means more than words can convey,” Horsford said. “As a lifelong learner, this opportunity not only eases my financial burden but also illuminates my journey toward ongoing education and future success as an OT.”

McKinley Payne, University of Oklahoma

“This scholarship is not only an investment in my academic journey but also an affirmation that my commitment to improving lives through OT is recognized and valued,” Payne said. “It empowers me to pursue my dreams with renewed dedication, knowing that others believe in the positive impact I can make in the field of occupational therapy. I am so thankful for the support of OccupationalTherapy.com.”

OccupationalTherapy.com has supported the AOTF Scholarship Program since 2015, awarding scholarships to outstanding applicants who are pursuing post-baccalaureate degrees in occupational therapy.

“OccupationalTherapy.com is proud to support these two recipients as well as future students,” said senior managing editor Fawn Carson, OTD, OTR/L, ATP. “Our goal is to provide top-notch courses to professionals in the field. What better way to embody this philosophy than helping the clinicians of tomorrow?”
