How to Refresh Your Browser

Google Chrome

Select the ⟳ to the left of the Chrome address bar.

FireFox

The refresh (⟳) icon is on the far-right side of the Firefox address bar.

Microsoft Edge

Hold Ctrl and press F5 Microsoft Edge is only available on Windows.

 

Internet Explorer

The refresh icon (⟳) in the far-right corner of the Internet Explorer address bar.

Safari

The refresh (⟳) icon is on the right side of the Safari address bar. Safari is only available on Mac.

How to clear cache from your browser

Google Chrome

Computer

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. On your browser toolbar, click the 'More icon' (three dots), then 'Delete Browsing Data'.
  3. In the 'Clear browsing data' box, click the checkboxes for 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files'.
  4. Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete. Choose 'beginning of time' to delete everything. Note: This option does not appear on all devices. 
  5. Click Delete data.

 

Android

On your Android phone or tablet, open Chrome.

  1. On your browser toolbar, tap the 'More icon' (three dots), then 'Delete Browsing Data'.
  2. Tap Delete browsing data.
  3. Under "Delete browsing data," select the checkboxes for Cookies and site data and Cached images and files.
  4. Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete. Choose beginning of time to delete everything.
  5. Tap Delete data.

On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome.

  1. On your browser toolbar, tap 'More'.
  2. Tap 'Delete browsing data'.
  3. Under 'Delete browsing data', select the checkboxes for 'Cookies and site data' and 'Cached images and files'.
  4. Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete. Choose 'beginning of time' to delete everything.
  5. Tap Delete data.

FireFox

  1. Click on the menu button  Firefox Menu Button .
  2. Click History, and then Clear Recent History
  3. In the Time Range to clear: drop-down, choose Everything.
  4. Click on the arrow next to Details to display the list of items that you can clear.
  5. Make sure Form & Search History has a check mark next to it.
  6. Click Clear Now to clear your form history and close the dialog box.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the Configuration icon (three dots).
  2. Click on Delete browsing data.
  3. In the Time Range to clear: drop-down, choose All time.
  4. Check the boxes for each item you want to clear.
  5. Click the Clear now button.

Internet Explorer

  1. In Internet Explorer, select the Tools  button, point to Safety, and then select Delete browsing history.
  2. Choose the types of data/files you want to remove from your PC, and then select Delete.
