SW/CSW/IPSW/APSW:

  • There is no limit to the number of continuing education hours that can be completed online.
  • 4 hours of ethics each renewal period. Continued offers courses that may meet the ethics requirement.
    • Important: MPSW 19.02 (2) (b) requires social work credential holders to complete their ethics and professional boundaries CE hours in an interactive learning format. MPSW 19.02 (2) defines "interactive learning format" as a live, synchronous presentation with discussion or an asynchronous educational program by an ASWB ACE approved provider. Continued is an ASWB ACE approved provider, and therefore, licensees can take ethics courses in either a live or recorded format.
  • First-time renewals are exempt from continuing education requirements.
