How many CE hours does Indiana require for social workers?

LSW/LBSW/LCSW: 40 hours every 2 years. Licenses expire on 3/31 of even-numbered years.
- 20 hours are required per year; however, the license is only renewed once every 2 years.

Can I take my continuing education through Continued Social Work?

Yes. Continued is an ASWB ACE provider, and the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board accepts courses approved by ASWB ACE.

LSW/LBSW/LCSW:

There is no limit to the number of continuing education hours that can be completed online.
2 hours of ethics each renewal period (1 hour is required each year). Continued offers courses that may meet the ethics requirement.
