I found it so helpful understanding Polyvagal theory and how our nervous system works. It helps me personally to understand my body's automatic responses, to be non-judgmental but also to know some strategies to move back into a calmer state. This also helps me with my clients and I loved the chart on the three pathways. I will definitely use that!

It was a good introduction. The reason I gave it an average score is that the questions on the evaluation ask about best use and best understanding. An introduction doesn’t give the full range of the theory or the possible uses, but it’s nature, so the way the evaluation is worded, not the quality of the course, result in this rating.

Clear, concise and important general overview of PVT without overwhelming students with too much at once. Useful and easy exercises that you can use immediately with clients while also being clear that there is much more to learn in the PVT field and encouraging the student to seek out further learning. Helpful resources were given as well. As someone who has studied this it is an INTRODUCTION, however, I still found it helpful to reinforce prior learning .
