the present covered very informative points about complex PTSD, ways to support our clients as well as ourselves. I also loved how she normalized our collective trauma as a response to the pandemic.

I took this course in January 2023. I wish I would have had it sooner! Looking back on it, I was in caregiver burnout. I lost love ones to Covid, I was extremely upset over how the politicians handled the whole situation, and I observed a family member tumble into alcoholism. I also continued to work via telehealth during the whole time.

Since I am among those affected by the Covid epidemic, I didn't realize much of what I learned here. I learned a lot in spite of being a part of this collective trauma.

In 2022 we are still dealing with the effect of the pandemic, so especially ones that loss a loved one, a job etcetera. I didn't know about Collective Trauma which has a stronger effect with people who have other traumas in their life. Hopefully, someone will teach on post COVID in the future for people dealing with the aftermath of COVID. Excellent presentation!

This course was excellent in addressing the many dynamics that living through a pandemic of this magnitude has already affected this society and world. The understanding that COVID has impacted all populations. The discussion on collective trauma and collective grief was very interesting.

This training was fine. As someone working in an emergency room during COVID I just didn't feel like it got deep enough into the anger that I and so many of my coworkers have felt so pervasively throughout the pandemic. It touched on that as a part of grief and as a part of national divisions but I don't feel like it was highlighted enough.

Before taking this course, I was unsure of how to approach clients about this topic (as I am currently not working). This provided me with great strategies to keep in mind as I reenter the field and help clients who are dealing with trauma stemming from COVID-19. Invaluable information!

the content was pretty comprehensive; the issue was that she spoke about alot that was not in the slides, and the clinical intervention section was thin. the three interventions she had on the slides could have been fleshed out more. the camera could have been on her if she was not going to have a full slide presentation of the verbal content, as there was so much being covered.

Good course, although I did struggle with the exam on the first go time. I felt as though the question about talking to a psychiatrist about anti-anxiety medications wasn't the right answer, as I thought it would be just talking to a psychiatrist as a first step. Otherwise I felt as though it was a great course.

This is still a very sensitive topic in the Country and across the World. Not sure if we are really able to put a finger on how it will impact society as a whole and how to effectively address address the concerns that will come from this. So many things are happening, death, unemployment, loss of property and jobs. Not to mention the political and social impact. I applaud the effort but I am not sure we are really there yet.
