In this training, clinicians learn how to effectively document medical necessity in progress notes, what should be included in notes to justify treatment, and how to link the treatment justification to the treatment plans to meet insurers' standards (including Medicare and Medicaid). This course will also explore the ethics associated with social work documentation.
