Can I take my continuing education through Continued Psychology?

Yes. Continued is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The South Dakota Board of Examiners of Psychologists accepts activities that improve or maintain the licensee's professional skills, or broaden the licensee's knowledge of governing laws, rules, or ethical standards.

Other Information

  • The South Dakota Board of Examiners of Psychologists require licensees to obtain 1.5 education units during the annual licensure period. One unit is equivalent to 10 contact hours of participation in an activity eligible for credit.
  • One contact hour is equivalent to one APA continuing education (CE) hour.
  • Licensees are permitted to obtain all 15 contact hours online.
