How many CE Hours does New Hampshire require for psychologists?

• Psychologist/School Psychologist (Doctoral)/School Psychologist (Specialist): 40 hours every 2 years. Licenses expire every 2 years on the last day of the month in the month the license was issued.

Can I take my continuing education through Continued Psychology?

• Psychologists/School Psychologist (Doctoral)/School Psychologist (Specialist): Yes. Continued is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The New Hampshire Board of Psychologists accepts courses offered by APA approved providers.

Psychologists/School Psychologist (Doctoral)/School Psychologist (Specialist):

• At least 30 hours must be obtained through Category A courses. Courses on Continued Psychology are considered Category A courses.
• At least 6 hours must be completed in Category A courses on the topic of ethics and must be in a live/interactive format. Continued offers courses that may meet the ethics requirement.
• Courses should be directly related to the scope of practice in the category of licensure held.

CE Broker Reporting: 

• Proof of required CE must be electronically submitted directly to CE Broker. Continued will report course completions to CE Broker for approved courses. You may also self-report to CE Broker. The Continued provider number for CE Broker is 50-29950.
