• Psychologist/Limited License Psychologist: 
  • 40 hours every 2 years
  • License expires on 5/31 of even-numbered years
• School Psychologist: 
  • 30 hours every 2 years
  • License expires on 11/30 of odd-numbered years

Can I use this site to earn my continuing education hours?

• Yes, we are approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Florida Board of Psychology to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Florida Board of Psychology and the Florida Department of Health - School Psychology accepts courses offered by APA approved providers.

Psychologists and Limited License Psychologists:

• The Florida Board of Psychology requires licensees to obtain 2 hours of continuing education (CE) in medical errors.

• Licensees are required to obtain 2 CE hours in Domestic Violence every third biennium; these hours are included in the 40 hours required per renewal period.

• Psychologists who are initially licensed within the biennium are exempt from the continuing education requirements except for the 2-hour requirement relating to the prevention of medical errors; Limited Licensed Psychologists are not exempt from the CE requirements.

School Psychologists:
