12 hours every 2 years. Licenses expire every 2 years based on the date of issuance.

Can I earn my continuing education hours through Continued Massage Therapy?

Yes, a portion of your hours can be obtained online. Continued Massage Therapy is an NCBTMB Approved Provider, and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation accepts courses approved by NCBTMB for licensed massage therapists.

Other Information

CE hours obtained online or by correspondence are acceptable only if the subject matter is not massage therapy techniques or manipulation of soft tissue. Continued Massage Therapy offers online courses to help meet your CE requirements.
Human trafficking training is required by the Texas Department of Health and Human Services. A free course that meets the human trafficking requirement is available through TX Health and Human Services.
