How many CE hours does South Carolina require for massage therapists?

  • 12 hours every 2 years. Licenses expire on 6/30 of even years.

Can I earn my continuing education hours through Continued Massage Therapy?

Yes. Continued Massage Therapy is an NCBTMB Approved Provider, and the South Carolina Board of Massage Therapy accepts courses approved by NCBTMB. Courses that are not directly related to massage therapy will not be accepted as continuing education for the purposes of license renewal.

  • There is no limit to the number of continuing education hours that can be completed online.
  • Continued Massage Therapy will report course completions to CE Broker for approved courses. You may also self-report to CE Broker. For more information about self-reporting, visit CEBroker.com. The Massage Therapy Provider number for CE Broker is 50-41516.
