How many CE hours does Pennsylvania require for massage therapists?

• 24 hours every 2 years. Licenses expire on 1/31 of odd years.

Can I earn my continuing education hours through Continued Massage Therapy?

Yes, a portion of your hours can be obtained online. Continued Massage Therapy is an NCBTMB Approved Provider, and the Pennsylvania State Board of Massage Therapy accepts courses approved by NCBTMB.

• Up to 8 CE hours may be earned online. Continued Massage Therapy offers online courses to help meet your CE requirements.
• 16 hours must be obtained through contact hours in the presence of an instructor. Continued Massage Therapy does not offer courses that meet this requirement.
• Massage therapists must complete 4 hours in ethics each renewal period. Continued Massage Therapy offers courses that may meet the 4-hour ethics requirement.
