36 hours every 3 years. Licensees must re-register every 3 years during their birth month.

Can I earn my continuing education hours through Continued Massage Therapy?

Yes, continued.com LLC (Continued Massage Therapy) is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Massage Therapy as an approved provider of continuing education for massage therapists (#00057). Continued Massage Therapy also offers courses approved by NCBTMB.

Other Information

There is no limit to the number of continuing education hours that can be completed online.
Licensees may obtain CE hours by completing a self-examination on New York laws, rules, regulations, and standards of practice for massage therapists. The self-exam is available on the NY State Education Department website.
