How many CE hours does New Mexico require for massage therapists?

16 hours every 2 years. Licenses expire 10/31 every 2 years.
After the license is renewed the first time, the license will be scheduled into a biennial cycle and will be renewed every two years.

Can I earn my continuing education hours through Continued Massage Therapy?

Yes, a portion of your hours can be obtained online. Continued Massage Therapy is an NCBTMB Approved Provider, and the New Mexico Board of Massage Therapy accepts courses approved by NCBTMB.

Other Information

Up to 8 CE hours may be earned online. Continued Massage Therapy offers online courses to help meet your CE requirements.
Massage therapists must obtain a minimum of eight hours of live, in-person training each renewal period.
Massage therapists must complete 4 hours in ethics each renewal period. Continued Massage Therapy offers courses that may meet the 4-hour ethics requirement.
