Can I earn my continuing education hours through Continued Massage Therapy?

Yes, a portion of your hours can be obtained online. Continued Massage Therapy is approved by the Florida Board of Massage Therapy and is an NCBTMB Approved Provider. 

• 12 CE hours must be taught in an in-person setting on topics relevant to and focused on massage therapy techniques, skills, and protocols.
• Massage therapists must complete 2 hours in professional ethics. Continued Massage Therapy offers courses that may meet the 2-hour ethics requirement.
• Massage therapists must complete 1 hour of human trafficking awareness. Continued Massage Therapy offers a course that may meet the 1-hour human trafficking awareness requirement.
• Massage therapists must complete 2 hours in the prevention of medical errors. Continued Massage Therapy offers a course that may meet the 2-hour prevention of medical errors requirement.
• Massage therapists must complete 2 hours on Florida laws and rules. Continued Massage Therapy offers a course that may meet the 2-hour laws and rules requirement.
• The remaining 5 CE hours may be in general topics, including but not limited to communication with clients and other professionals, psychological dynamics of the client-therapist relations, risk management, charting, documentation, record keeping, infection control, or massage practice management.
