How many CE hours does Arkansas require for massage therapists?

18 hours every 2 years. Licenses expire every 2 years on the birthdate.

Can I earn my continuing education hours through Continued Massage Therapy?

Yes, a portion of your hours can be obtained online. Continued Massage Therapy is an NCBTMB Approved Provider, and the Arkansas Department of Health accepts courses approved by NCBTMB for licensed massage therapists.

Other Information

Up to 6 CE hours may be earned online. Continued Massage Therapy offers courses that may meet the online requirement.
Home study and/or online courses cannot be in a hands-on subject matter. Licensees are responsible for selecting courses on topics included in their scope of practice.
The remaining 12 CE hours must be in-person.
