Professionals licensed by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board:
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Licensed Master's Addiction Counselor (LMAC), Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC): 30 hours every 2 years. Licenses expire biennially based on the date of issuance.
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) & Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT): 40 hours every 2 years. Licenses expire biennially based on the date of issuance.
Can I take my continuing education through Continued Counseling?
Licensed Professional Counselors/Addiction Counselors: Yes. Courses on Continued may be used for continuing education requirements for Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and Addiction Professionals licensed by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
