Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC), Licensed Addiction Counselor Associate (LACA), and Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor Associate (LCACA): 40 hours every 2 years, earning 20 hours per year. Licenses expire on 3/31 of even-numbered years.
Can I take my continuing education through Continued Counseling?
Licensed Professional Counselors/Marriage & Family Therapists/Addiction Counselors: Yes. The Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Board accepts courses from NBCC and NAADAC approved providers. Continued has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7484. Continued is a NAADAC Approved Education Provider, #283836.
